1st Halloween

So Friday was Halloween. It was very uneventful for us. I did not see the point of dressing up Sophie since she doesn't trick or treat and we were not going anywhere...if fact Bryce had his class so he wasn't even around. I decided maybe that Sophie and I would have a Halloween oatmeal party.....Oh I may have made it a little different than our normal oatmeal feeding frenzy... (see below).

Ready for Solids??

WHAT????? You want me to eat solid food???? Are you sure I'm ready???










Here is our first attempt at rice cereal. She is doing really well now with oatmeal. I think more of it is starting to go down to her tummy instead of all over her face and hands. I always make sure after eating that I check up her nose to make sure we got all.



I'm sure she is thinking that her fingers taste just as good as rice cereal.

Sophie is getting more mobile on her tummy. She already is acting "girly". She likes to look at herself in a mirror. (that's the object she's holding)

I think that I set her down on the couch to get her car seat ready for an "adventure" as we like to call them. She just laid there and didn't move a muscle.




Sophie has discovered her feet and like everything else she can grab she likes to put them immediately into her mouth.

BUMBO!

Here is our new favorite toy. The BUMBO chair. (of course in purple!) She is 4 1/2 months old now. At her 4 month MD visit she wieghed 10 1/2 lbs (5%ile) and 24 inches (50%ile). Talk about long and skinny!!
