TRANSFER???

The latest news is that Bryce might be transferred back to Colorado to work. I'm so excited at the thought of moving back to Colorado where there is less people, more affordable housing, seasons and snow, family and friends, and mountains. Nothing is "official" yet but it more likely that we will move at the first of the year. Here are some pictures of Sophie and more "moments" over the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!

We went for a walk. Sophie barely fits into her stroller. I strap her bottom in but the shoulder straps are too big. I am done with the carseat in the stroller for walks because she likes to look around, sit up, ect... By the way it does get chilly here in SD, hence the hat and blanket and slippers.
Bryce attempted to feed peas to Sophie and at the last minute she turned her head and this is where the peas landed.
MMMMMM............Carrots!!

And finally.....every meal ends with a bit of a bite from the bumbo eating tray. This is what I think she is thinking.. "I MUST put it in my mouth.... I MUST put it in my mouth.....I MUST put it in my mouth"

A Little Relaxation!

I just thought I would share these photos of Sophie. She can now sit on her own, however, for safety if I am doing something I put the Boppy pillow behind her. Here are her own creative ways for using it.

Slow Progress....

(new dress)

So I promised an update after our trip to the doctor's. Well...she is still in the 50% in height going from 21 to 25 inches in 2 months, and around 5% still in weight...she's at 12lbs 1 oz. So basically since our weight check in October she has gained one pound. Of course we can contribute that to starting rice and oat cereals. We are slowly progressing through the veggies. Though she usually eats everything we give her it takes some time for her to warm up to them and so far there has been no reaction to her food except for really stinky diapers that are every color under the rainbow. (tmi???) Anyway, we are having a blast with her. She has developed a really distinct high pitched sqeal...I keep wondering if the neighbors have noticed. She is sleeping nicely through the night....however, we have had to make some adjustments to her bedtime so that she won't wake up too early....because she likes to get up and get her day started when the rest of us don't really want to. She is starting to sit better...I put the boppy behind her just in case...if she falls backwards she just will hang out there with her head upside down. Well there's the update. I wish we could be a little closer to family, but I'm grateful that Bryce has a job and we are surviving during these tough times. I hope you enjoy the pictures of Sophie....
